Family Picnic

This Saturday is the annual Word of Life Nicaragua Family Picnic.  The churches that we work with invite family and friends to this activity with the purpose of reaching them for Christ.  It's a day full of fun, games, and competitions for all ages.  Please keep this event in your prayers as many people will be presented with the gospel.

Lanzamientos and Bible Club stuff

Lanzamientos are the Bible Club kick-offs that we have once a year every March.  The youth begin their annual Bible Club program within their church.  They host sports events, plan funny skits, and create great opportunities for many youth to attend who would otherwise not step foot in a church.  They hear about Christ and learn about how they can get connected as an ongoing Bible Club member. Here are some pictures taken from lanzamientos and/or Bible Clubs that we recently attended.

 

SIDA vs. VIDA

The two week SIDA vs. VIDA outreach was a great success!  We traveled around visiting various schools, churches, and prisons with Adrian Ferrari, a Word of Life missionary who has AIDS.  He shared about AIDS and his powerful personal testimony of Christ transforming His life.  We were able to reach out to 6,133 people with the gospel and 351 responded in small group or one on one by putting their faith in Christ.  Check out the pictures to see what it was like!
